Because Lege News Never Gets Old

Nobody yet knows when or for what, but there will be a special session of the Texas legislature this year.

A good bet is that passing a bill reviving TxDOT and the TDI is going to be on the list of tasks assigned to legislators. Whether lege Republicans want to play the partisan game and try to revive voter ID legislation during the special session is anybody's guess -- but I imagine smart folks on both sides are already making battle plans, just in case.
