Big Bad John To Head NRSC

The Dallas Morning News reports this afternoon that recently re-elected Senator John Cornyn is the new chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). The outgoing chair, Senator John Ensign of Nevada, is moving into the chairmanship of the party's policy committee recently vacated by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, which many see as Senator Hutchison taking a step toward running for Governor of Texas in 2010.
