Kucinich Needed to Apply Himself

Dennis Kucinich is thinking about the Texas Primary — because he won’t be listed on March’s ballot.

While filling out an application, he crossed out a section which requires support for whoever ultimately becomes the Party nominee. His campaign issued a statement that they will not be able to support a presidential candidate using war as a foreign policy. His application was disqualified as a result.

So, they’ve sued the Texas Democratic Party over ‘principle’. This is odd because the platform stipulation was created by the National Party.

I identify myself as progressive, but that doesn't negate being a realist. If I want to be a part of a company, I am expected to go along with the company policies. Altering official forms on whim is a bad idea.

Running for president with a particular political party would obviously require one to ‘get along to go along’ with the national platform, or rules set by the national party. It’s not something which the veteran politician should just now be learning for the very first time.
