A Rich Judicial Tapestry

So, hey, the Supreme Court has been getting into it the last few days, right?
Yesterday the Supremes declared that the death penalty is not a suitable punishment for child rapists, arguing that capital punishment for crimes against individuals is confined to murder. Today they ruled that the right own a gun is constitutionally protected, which essentially means that Washington D.C.'s gun ban is in fact unconstitutional.
What happens next will be anyone's guess, but you can bet the NRA is going to lawyer up and take this argument to as many courts as possible.
