About this Writer

Her interdisciplinary research interests include civil rights and liberties, conflict resolution, judicial decision-making, international humanitarian law, legislative control of the bureaucracy, and administrative agency decision-making. She has authored or co-authored articles in Social Science Quarterly, Political Research Quarterly, American Politics Quarterly, Presidential Studies Quarterly, and Social Science Research.

She has co-authored a book teaching legal research and oral argumentation for moot court undergraduates and co-produced a video that simulates the appellate decision- making process for undergraduate students. She has received the U.N.T. 'Fessor Graham Award (2006), the President's Council Teaching Award (1998) and the Student Association Honor Professor Award (1997, 1999). She joined the faculty after teaching constitutional law, elections and campaigns, American government, the Presidency, and business-government relations. She has also worked for the Fair Housing and Homelessness Working group (SUNY-Buffalo), and Prisoners' Legal Assistance Project (Harvard University).
