Bill Moyers is not a man to be trifled with, and you can learn that by watching him utterly embarrass O'Reilly Factor producer Porter Barry after a failed ambush attempt. This is one of the best things I have seen on TV, possibly ever.

Last Thursday the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence released Phase Two of its report on prewar Iraq intelligence.
In the report, the committee analyzes speeches by Bush, Cheney, and other key officials, and compares them with intelligence reports released before March 2003.

Those Bushites are sure big on loyalty, aren’t they? Scott McClellan, President Bush’s second press secretary, has written a scathing book about his White House years. While stunned folks still working for the president call McClellan disgruntled, the former designated liar says the book is a way for him to learn from his mistakes, be true to his Christian faith and become a better person.

Wrapping Up

Despite leaving Austin yesterday at six, we're still not home yet. Diana and I were simply too exhausted to drive all the way to Denton, so when we stopped at my mother's house in Weatherford to pick up the dogs, we stayed the night. As I mentioned in the convention tracker, Boyd Richie was re-elected as state chair on the first ballot with an enormous share of the vote.
