Bush Goofs Again

In a briefing today held by President Bush, he announced his plan of action to help the millions of homeowners struggling to fight foreclosure on their homes. He then immediately gave out the wrong number for the hotline used to access the program.

The White House press office released a correction quickly after the statement. The first number, 1-800-995-HOPE, greeted callers with a busy tone. This actually happened, even though there was no mention of the misstatement by the paper of record.
