Democratic Senate Candidate Rick Noriega Met With Barack Obama

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that former Democratic Senate candidate and current state representative Rick Noriega met with President-Elect Barack Obama today in Chicago.

Noriega's expertise on veterans' issues, disaster relief administration, and energy policy make him a strong candidate for any number of jobs. While both parties are denying that there was a job offer, putting Noriega in the executive branch would help solidify Hispanic identification within the Democratic Party.
