Homeland Security Oversight Needs... Oversight?

Filed in the you've-got-to-be-kidding-me department: Republicans are saying that Democratic Congressional oversight on and investigations of the Department of Homeland Security are overly burdensome and creating problems. Their solution? They're launching an investigation and engaging in a little oversight.

I know I'm not the only one that sees the irony in an inquiry, aimed at showing how much time is wasted on answering inquiries, which requires an answer detailing how much time the department spends answering inquiries. I'm not sure what they were trying to prove, but they've definitely proven that the GOP Congressional caucus' sense of humor is very narrow, indeed.
