Huck/Chuck 2008

If you feel Huckabee does not carry the “tough guy” image needed to appear as a strong, effective president that will fight for Republican rights, please see Huck’s sidekick, Chuck.
At rallies for the Iowa caucuses and all over the United States, cries for “Huck! Chuck!” were heard for Mike Huckabee and Chuck Norris. Norris, former “Texas Ranger,” is a 67-year-old action film hero fighting evildoers as a Texas lawman; he endorsed Huckabee after being courted by other presidential hopefuls.
A cult-like following of Norris has sprung up around the actor in recent years, and many websites have been devoted to "facts" about Chuck Norris. Some fun “facts” include:
“Chuck Norris doesn’t sleep. He waits.”
“There is no chin behind Chuck Norris’ beard. There is only another fist.”
“Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.”
It appears the former governor from Arkansas is letting Norris handle the dirty work on the campaign trail. In a controversial move by Huckabee to pull hundreds of thousands of dollars of attack ads against opponent Mitt Romney, Huckabee watched as Norris berated Romney on issues of abortion and gay marriage. This strategy clearly worked for Huck: he went on to win Iowa while being outspent by a large margin, and is viewed by supporters as true to his word for staying positive.
Pictures of rallies for Huckabee prominently display Norris and have become, in my opinion, quite creepy. Could we see a ticket for Huck/Chuck in 2008? Maybe Norris will settle for Secretary of Defense.
