Who Ya Gonna Call?

Speaker Tom Craddick has been running some defensive noise as of late with his "ghost worker" business, and Fort Worth State Representative Lon Burnam is calling him on it.
Via the Star-Telegram's PoliTex comes this:
"Speaker Craddick once again abused the levers of government by using non-partisan, non-political government entities to research, create and leak a politically motivated story," Burnam wrote. "The story curiously targeted only three members of the Texas House, all of whom are outspoken foes of the Speaker."
Burnam also said he and other House members were ticked off to discover they were ALL under investigation in the growing scandal by the Austin-based Quorum Report, instead of from the committee itself.
While I'm not really surprised to see these kinds of things coming out of Craddick's office, Burnam hammers home an excellent point that is also incredibly obvious. In social science we call what Craddick has done here "case selection bias." Now I am mainly curious as to whether Cradddick will sell out one of his own homies to make everything look even or if he'll just dispense with the pleasantries and keep on the tracks. We'll see.
