Have you seen this from Wikileaks? Via TPMuckraker and the New York Times comes the news that, in 2005, US armed forces were authorized to perform 'cross-border raids into Iran and Syria' from Iraq. The implications of rules of engagement along these lines are large, and both the documents and the stories are worth digging into.

The Obama campaign's David Plouffe is now trying to manage expectations ahead of tomorrow's contest. The media has latched on to national poll movement as an indicator of possible locations for Obama to pull off some stunning upsets tomorrow, but Plouffe is saying that getting within 100 delegates of Clinton when tomorrow is all said and done is a win for them. And his surrogates have been professing the same sentiment all day long on your favorite cable news network.

Forget what talk radio says or thinks about John McCain. Forget that Romney has so much money. The idea surrounding John McCain — that he is solidifying as the GOP candidate — is stemming from the fact that while he might be losing the conservative primary, he is winning the personality primary.

Turns out he may have been exaggerating about all that economic recovery he takes credit for.
