After weeks of negotiations, the Florida Democratic Party said Monday it will not hold a second primary in the state.
Now this gets kicked to the DNC Rules committee. We have interesting times ahead of us.
The Permanent (Primary) Campaign

Campaigning is hard work, and only for those among us that are built for it. Just a few days ago a friend of mine asked me if the presidential campaigns ever take a day off. I just sort of laughed and said, "Not the good ones." He said, "Isn't this primary quite a bit longer than they usually are? How are the workers contending with that? Badly, I would imagine." I sent him this as a confirmation of his suspicions.
Texas Democratic Party Will Not Delay Convention Process

In a statement from Texas Democratic Party Chairman Boyd Richie, he asserts that the process in place "already provides for verification" of delegates, and that the party will not deviate from that process. Full text after the jump.

The issue holding up the Michigan re-vote seems to be a chicken-or-the-egg kind of argument:
State lawmakers looking at a Democratic presidential primary redo in Michigan appear to be locked in a standoff heading into a crucial week: Legislative leaders say the U.S. Sen. Barack Obama camp needs to agree to the repeat election before legislation is written, and Obama supporters say they must see the bill before signing off on the plan.

I read ThinkProgress quite often, so I was happy to see their new sister project take off: The Wonk Room, which they describe as a "public policy rapid response room" and "a resource for in-depth policy analysis on four core issue areas: health care, economic mobility, national security, and climate change." Those are several of my favorite political things joined together!
