Destroying America's Soul in Science
Wed, 04/22/2009 - 11:31pm
According to the Texas Freedom Network's live blogging of the confirmation hearing for Dr. Don McLeroy, chairman of the Texas State Board of Education, Dr. McElroy seems to think that the teaching of evolution is destroying America's soul in science. Dr. McLeroy, a dentist from Bryan, Texas, didn't elaborate on how our country's soul is being destroyed by teaching accepted, consensus science.
At some point, you just run out of things to say. Fortunately (unfortunately for Texas public school students), next up is the fight over the social studies curriculum. I'm sure that Dr. Don "someone has to stand up to the experts" McLeroy will provide the modern world with some more bulletin board material before it's all said and done.

I think Dr. McLeroy probably did elaborate on how our country's soul is being destroyed by teaching accepted, consensus science when he used the word "unguided" with respect to the consensus view.

So accepted, consensus science is "unguided"?
How?
