Huckabee Soldiers On

Via CNN's Political Ticker, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee says that he is staying in the race to win it.

I didn't think that Huckabee would bow out immediately and if he ends up staying in the race through Texas and Ohio, we might see some interesting things happen. To be clear, I don't expect him to make up significant ground on Senator John McCain's commanding lead, but there's still a Vice Presidential slot to audition for on the GOP ticket. If Huckabee can rally the movement conservative opposition to McCain then I think he's fairly well positioned to make a good showing for the VP slot. At the same time, McCain might be able to take a significant step toward making nice with the movement conservatives by having one of their own as his VP.
