John Edwards and Sam Nunn on Obama's List
Fri, 06/20/2008 - 9:18am
Everyone's been wondering who is on Obama's list of vice presidential picks, and today we learned two names: former Georgia senator and foreign policy heavyweight Sam Nunn, and John Edwards.
The latter name may come as a surprise; in April Edwards publicly claimed that he would not accept a VP nomination. But both names make sense: Nunn's experience and more moderate voting record could give Obama more crossover appeal. And Obama/Edwards? It's hard to imagine a more charismatic team.

John Edwards should be Obama's running mate.

Bob Barr is on the right track...............
BOB BARR'S TIMING IS ALL WRONG.
LET'S PUT ALL THE EFFORTS INTO GETTING McCain ELECTED.
THE DAY AFTER THE ELECTION (MAYBE YET THIS YEAR) PICK THE TOP 5 LIBERALS IN CONGRESS AND DEFEAT THEM WITH STRONG STRONG LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATES. ESTABLISH A TRACK RECORD FOR AMERICA.
SHOW PEOPLE THAT YOU REALLY MEAN BUSINESS & CAN GET THINGS DONE. WHEN YOU DO THIS PEOPLE WILL BEGIN TO LISTEN AND VOTE. IT IS GOING TO TAKE TIME. LET'S GET STARTED NOW. RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IS NOT GOING TO SUCCEED. IT WILL ONLY CREATE A LOT OF PROPLEMS FOR AMERICA.
WE HAVE A PLATE FULL NOW DON'T ADD ANYMORE....

Funny, I think Barr's timing is *fantastic*.
Then again, I also think you're on the wrong site.
And good luck beating "the top 5 liberals in Congress" with libertarian candidates. How well has that worked out for you in the past?
Not that I'm discouraging you or anything.
