"The Lime Green Monster"

I thought John McCain's speech last night was terrible, and not even from a partisan / policy perspective. I thought the delivery and the presentation were bad, the language was poor, and just... man, it was just generally terrible. As it turns out, I am not alone in that feeling.

Reactionary Speeches - They're Good and Bad

I have to wonder what McCain's speechwriters think the American people will buy into.

He kept repeating, "That's not change we can believe in." If we as voters can't believe in the "change" the Republican party has offered over the last eight years, and we shouldn't believe in what Barack Obama offers, what do we have to believe in?

On a positive note, this speech was reactionary, which means Obama is leading the conversation. Thumbs up.
