McCain RNC Appointee Resigns Over Myanmar Connection
Mon, 05/12/2008 - 2:08pm
Doug Goodyear, McCain's choice to run the 2008 Republican National Convention, stepped down on Saturday.
Goodyear is the CEO of DCI Group, a firm with ties to Myanmar's military junta. In 2002, they did a public relations campaign for the regime, and lobbied on their behalf.
Myanmar's government is frequently cited for human rights violations, most recently for blocking aid to tens of thousands of homeless, hungry, and sick victims of Cyclone Nargis.

For a guy who is such a fixer-upper of campaign finance and such a maverick, he is thick as thieves with lobbyists.
Note also this guy who was a regional campaign manager for McCain who also had a DCI/Myanmar connection.
So can we start the meme that the Myanmar junta wants John McCain to win the Presidency?
