Ed Martin has been involved in Texas Democratic politics since the early 1970's. After several sessions as a legislative staffperson and working in both statewide and legislative campaigns, Martin served as E.D. of the Texas Democratic Party from 1986-1995. Since 1996, he has worked as a consultant for a number of Democratic Party organizations and candidates, as well as non-partisan groups like TSTA, with an emphasis on communications and message development, voter contact, legislative strategy and redistricting.
