Kirk Cooper is a journalism junior at the University of North Texas. He is the assigning editor of the North Texas Daily, UNT's school newspaper, and has previously served as the paper's views editor, homeland security reporter, and featured columnist. Cooper interned with the El Paso Times in El Paso, Texas this past summer, and currently does open source intelligence work for Exclusive Analysis, Ltd. of London, a global political risk analysis firm.
