Al-Qaeda, or Extremists, or Whatever, Part II

Via TPM: Remember yesterday when we talked about how John McCain seems to not know what's going on in the Middle East? He asserted that Iran was training al-Qaeda's members and sending them to Iraq, despite the fact that al-Qaeada is a Sunni group and Iran is mostly Shi'a. Although he was corrected in public by Joe Lieberman, today his campaign says that he was totally right, more or less, and that Iran and Osama are best friends forever. I guess if you're already totally wrong, you can't get any wrong-er by swearing you're right.
