The American People Deserve An Obama Presidency

Novak's assessment of some of the evangelical community is that they will not support John McCain's Presidential aspirations this year, deciding instead to wait for 2012 when Mike Huckabee will run for office again (they hope). In the meantime, an Obama Presidency would be a plague upon the nation.

Evan Smith at Texas Monthly's Poll Dancing blog discusses Novak's column. One item of particular interest is that apparently some of Huckabee's supporters have created a PAC called Government Is Not God and they A) don't agree with Novak's assessment and B) are categorically opposed to the idea of Vice President Romney.
