Back to Boston

I got a letter this morning from Karl-Thomas Musselman, who until yesterday was the Editor of the Burnt Orange Report and a vibrant, driving force in Texas' netroots revolution. He's moving to Boston to work on ActBlue, which you should probably be familiar with if you are not already. I've lived in Boston a couple of times, once for a while after I graduated high school and again during the 2004 election cycle. I have many anecdotes and much advice, but one bit of wisdom stands out as most important: get a monthly T pass, KT. Waiting in line for tokens in the morning is terrible.

Netroots activism has had a demonstrable and significant effect on Texas politics, as Matt Glazer and Phillip Martin pointed out here. The Texas netroots movement is a community to which we are proud to contribute. Texas is leading the way in this area, I believe, and it wouldn't be where it is without KT and the Burnt Orange Report. Congratulations, KT, and congratulations to Matt Glazer in his new position as editor for BOR. Everyone here at The Texas Blue wishes you both the best in your new ventures, and we look forward to seeing more of the quality netroots activism we have come to expect from the Burnt Orange Report.
