Clinton Concedes, Time For Unity

We were watching the speech from the floor, and there were some occasional feed outages. The most striking moment for me was a spontaneous outbreak of a chant. All weekend there's been competing chants of "O-ba-ma" and "Hi-lla-ry" but there hasn't been a nasty spirit behind them. People are just happy to express support for their candidates. Today, when the feed went out during Clinton's speech, a few chants rose up, but they were immediately replaced by a louder chant that took over: "United We Stand" The entire hall got to its feet and it was, most likely, the loudest thing the crowd has done since the convention started.

I was incredibly happy to hear it.
