Donna Edwards Wins In MD-04

A quick morning recap and a teaser for you to surf on by later on...

Donna Edwards, a public interest activist and grassroots candidate, defeated eight term incumbent Representative Al Wynn last night in Maryland's Democratic primary in the Fourth Congressional District.

Later today I will be posting a piece I've been working for the last week comparing the primary challenge in IL-03 with the primary challenge in MD-04 (hint: they're both Democratic districts and that's pretty much where it ends). After comparing these two very different districts and their primary contests, I'll discuss my thought on how the push for "better" Democrats plays out in our Texas Congressional delegation.
