Edwards to Drop Out of Presidential Race

NBC and the Associated Press are reporting that Edwards will be announcing that he is dropping out of the presidential race at his appearance in New Orleans at noon Central time. The speech had been billed as one that was indicating his refocusing his race on poverty. It is said that Edwards will not immediately endorse either candidate.
