Exciting Rasmussen Numbers

Via BOR: my hate-hate relationship with polls is not a secret, but Rasmussen usually delivers a snapshot that reflects reality. With only this data for reference I can only be encouraged and skeptical, but the encouraging part is pretty good. Cornyn / Noreiga? 47/43. About five points separates McCain and either Democratic candidate. Not what one expects to see in early Texas polling.
