Huckabee v. McCain Heats Up

Many comments have been made about how nice McCain and Huckabee are to each other. It seems now that the truce might be over, as Huckabee is protesting the results of this weekend's caucus results in Washington.

CNN even has it that Huckabee likened the process by which the race was called for McCain to "how they used to conduct it in the old Soviet Union." McCain's margin was not enormous by any means, and to be honest, Huckabee has a point if things turned out the way he says they did:

He said Republican party officials stopped counting with only 87 percent of the vote in. McCain was leading Huckabee by only 242 votes out of approximately 12,000 at the time, with 1,500 votes uncounted, according to the Huckabee campaign.

"We're going to demand a full accounting. We're going to see what happened ... it appears that arbitrarily the party chairman just decided that he thought he could see how it was going," Huckabee told CNN.

If the result changes after a full recount (if a full recount happens, that is) it will be a big story for Huckabee. It might be a big story anyways, if it persists.
