The Money Game: -NC Edition

Democrats are giving money to candidates hand over fist this year, and the national campaign committees are also far ahead of their Republican counterparts. The RNC, however, is whipping the DNC for dollars
The national Republican Party had nearly 10 times more cash on hand than its Democratic counterpart at the end of April, a notable GOP advantage in what otherwise has been Democratic fundraising dominance this election.
I think this interesting, and probably not necessarily an indicator of disparate distribution of capabilities. What's going on? The media projection is that the moneytrain at the DNC will pick up speed once the nomination is decided.
