As I am usually focused on negative things in the news, I know that my perspective overly narrow about international relations. Economic systems are strange, sure, and food is getting awfully scarce, as is clean drinking water, at least from a global perspective. But as far as people mounting up to kill each other for whatever reason, Zakaria contends that we're living in relatively peaceful times.
