In recent weeks, the GOP faced major beatings in the political arena. The leaders of the GOP decided to “stop the bleeding” with a memo.

The memo urges the focus of “positive” news from the GOP to counter the scandals and losses faced by Republicans nationally and statewide with a new energy policy and a focused list of the issues America families face, from Texas’ own Kay Granger.

The Republicans faced a scandal involving drunk driving and a child born out of an affair by New York Rep. Vito Fosella and the loss of a special election in Louisiana, typically a Republican stronghold.
