Senator Kennedy To Endorse Obama

The New York Times is reporting that Senator Ted Kennedy has been in talks with the Obama camp for days and is prepared to endorse the Illinois senator for his presidential bid.

Granted, he's no Oprah, but Senator Kennedy's endorsement is considered possibly the biggest endorsement available in Democratic politics. Obama will already have plenty of juice going into Super Tuesday from his overwhelming victory in South Carolina; the endorsement may give him a little extra juice in the critical northeastern states that make up about a third of the delegate count on Super Tuesday.
