Senator Kennedy Hospitalized

Senator Edward Kennedy was rushed to the hospital early this morning after suffering what appears to have been a seizure.

Early reports as the senator was taken to Cape Cod Hospital shortly after 8 a.m. Eastern time were that he had suffered from "stroke-like symptoms." A later statement from his office clarified that he had suffered a seizure, and that he would remain in the hospital for the next 48 hours or so while they determined the cause.
