A Spectre Haunting Austin

The argument that the GOP regularly makes when pushing any new Voter ID legislation largely concerns voter fraud. The commentary is almost always a painful picture of people taking advantage of lax ID requirements to vote over and over again, or of nefarious campaigns fixing elections and subverting the will of the people. The problem with that argument in Texas, which has regularly been championed by the Attorney General's office, is that the problem does not actually exist.
