A University TAKS

Oh boy. This could lead to problems.

I don't want to be that guy, the one that says "TAKS hasn't worked where it already is, so why would it work anywhere else?" I mean, I agree with that statement. TAKS hasn't worked. And since tuition was deregulated, bills for college are already sky high, so anything that could make tuition rates increase more is pretty awful. I would think a vibrant state economy peopled by graduates from your state's colleges who find meaningful employment opportunities near those centers of education (or really, anywhere in the state) would be a terrific indicator of whether our college graduates are learning enough.
