We Have A Nominee

Senator Barack Obama was officially declared the presidential nominee for the Democratic Party yesterday, when his former rival in the primaries, Senator Hillary Clinton, called for Sen. Obama's nomination by acclamation.

The dramatic motion by Sen. Clinton followed nights of keynote speeches where both she and former president Bill Clinton declared their intent to "do everything [they] can" for Sen. Obama in the race for the presidency.
