Mounties Raid Conservative Party Headquarters
Tue, 04/15/2008 - 1:31pm
You don't see this every day — the Royal Canadian Mounted Police executed a raid and search warrant at the headquarters of Canada's Conservative Party in Ottawa. And they won't say why. The only question is where to get all the trucks for hauling the money in: the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has $44.3 million on hand, ready to go, and is also carrying no debt. And what does the NRCC, the Republican counterpart, have? A federal investigation!

Alberto Gonzales Looking For Work
Mon, 04/14/2008 - 10:48am
High-powered companies may not want to hire you if you come with a little bit of baggage. Alberto Gonzales comes with quite a bit of luggage, and the New York Times examined his free market excursions and disappointments since leaving the Bush administration last year. It may be time to write a book.
