MSNBC Calls California for Clinton and McCain

With 15% reporting, MSNBC calls it for Clinton and McCain. No one else has, and it seems a little early, but Clinton's early lead is pretty large. We're not convinced just yet.

ABC's calling Obama as the winner in Illinois -- one of the big states as far as delegates go. Clinton may have taken Oklahoma, though NBC's saying it's too close to call; she's also the projected winner in Tennessee.

On the Republican side, McCain has Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey; Huckabee has West Virginia and Romney has Massachusetts.

Rumblings from Romney that Huckabee and McCain cut a deal to engineer Romney's defeat in West Virginia. MSNBC reports that Huckabee's response is that Romney is a "whiner." Politics is serious business!

AP and MSNBC are calling the West Virginia convention for Mike Huckabee. An interesting tidbit — it was the defection of McCain supporters to Huckabee that put him over the top.
