A roadside bomb killed four U.S. soldiers in Baghdad on Sunday, the military said, pushing the overall American death toll in the five-year war to at least 4,000. The grim milestone came on a day when at least 61 people were killed across the country.

You'd Barely Know

As we discussed the other day, if it weren't for the five year anniversary of the invasion, you wouldn't know we were even in Iraq and Afghanistan any longer if depended on cable news for information.

According to those folks, the only things going on in the world right now are that Barack Obama's former minister hates America, John McCain is a manly maverick and Hillary Clinton was in the White House the most public of days in the Lewinsky scandal.
