Brimer's Letter From The Alamo

Paul Burka's got a humorous look at the successively weaker (yet seemingly endless) attempts by state Senator Kim Brimer to legislate his way into a victory over challenger Wendy Davis in Senate District 10.

Brimer's second appeal of his second lawsuit to that end failed to convince a Dallas appeals court on Monday to take Davis' name off the ballot once again, but as Burka notes, this (amazingly) doesn't mean he's giving up. Apparently Senator Brimer feels that even a hopeless court case has a better chance of getting him reelected than running on his record.

I am very disapointed in John McCain's responses. It would seem his America consists only of rich plummers who can afford to buy their company. He did not answer questions directly asked. Why should he be allowed to get away with not answering straight questions such as how much his administration will decrease in oil expenses asked by officiator. He dodged the bullet over and over and only wanted to shoot bullets at Barrack. Barrack is not the nation he is trying to lead. Joe the Plummer is not the nation he is trying to lead. I feel very sad for him in that his emotions rule over his possible sensibilities to show any qualifications. The only thing he showed me is that he has a bad temper and can breath very loudly. I hope his heart is okay. Supporting vouchers is cool, but there are millions of students nationwide who need better education. What about the students who do enroll in college but cannot do the work because they are unprepared????
I believe the nation John McCain needs to lead is a very small nation consisting of a few hundred very rich and very secure financially able people. He needs to go back to his resort camp with the rest of the out of touch rich bureacrates who could give a rats **** about the economy because their life is good and unthreatened by forclosures. I believe maybe high school musical maybe a more accessable format for John McCain's format where adult resposes, rules of debate like repeat the question for clarification and answer the question( he acts like the American people are so dumb we forgot what question was asked/even though he apparently did and expertise not required, nor accountability. I guess he is so rich he doesn't need to answer questions to the American people, he can just buy their support. Maybe that is who Joe the Plummer is, the few elite he is targeting to buy the election and promising big returns for their allegence.
