College Democrats To Hold 2007 Convention in South Carolina

Washington, DC- Exactly one year from the day of South Carolina Democratic primary, College Democrats of America announced that they will hold their 2007 convention on the campus of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, July 26-29, 2007.

"College Democrats are truly excited that we are getting in on the action of the 2008 election by hosting our convention in South Carolina, a key primary state," said College Democrats of America President Lauren Wolfe. "We believe that this year's convention will highlight the youth agenda and help bring additional attention to issues important to young voters. South Carolina's regional, racial and ethnic diversity and its role as an early primary state make it a perfect location for our young and diverse organization to train and mobilize for the upcoming election.
