The economic stimulus package was signed into law today by President Bush. Check roll out is apparently set for May.

Smoke and mirrors

Can anyone think of any other President who has to had give Americans not one, but two extra refund checks during his tenure?
Remember 2001, where we all received "$300" refund checks. I put it in quotes, because I received only $30, due to the fact I did not work full time all of the previous year.
At least this time I should receive my full $600. I would love to be Bush's dream and use it to consume a new flat screen tv. But it will most likely go to pay off debt, which is not the best economic stimulus.
