Oh boy. The Rise of Voter ID:
The Supreme Court has ruled that states can require voters to produce photo identification without violating their constitutional rights. The decision validates Republican-inspired voter ID laws.

Let's hope the Stevens' opinion does leave the door open for a challenge as applied.
It will only be a matter of time until Republicans will crawl out from under their rocks and try to Georgia another state's citizens.
BTW, I love Justice Scalia's poll tax defense in his opinion.
