Vacations Or Else

Chrysler is making everyone go on vacation for two weeks in July. I'm not sure what to make of this, other than it is some sort of a unique cost-cutting measure. I wonder what happens if you work for Chrysler and you've already burned your vacation time for the year?

If you don't have vacation, you probably simply get docked those hours.
I saw two "mandatory vacations" during my time in the telecommunications industry. It's a desperate cost-cutting measure.
