Video: Senfronia Thompson In The Spin Room

State Representative Senfronia Thompson (D-Houston) discusses her support for Senator Clinton and how she thinks Texas Democrats will benefit from this election year. Video after the jump.

McCain's Slight Money Problem

John McCain's campaign was almost broke several times over the course of the Republican primary, so it must have seemed like a good idea at the time when he signed up for public matching funds to be paid out in March. That decision would severely limit the total amount he could raise and spend but would give his campaign a shot in the arm late in the primary, which back then must have seemed like smart planning for the future.

More GOP Trouble

Outside Reunion: The Long Lost Footage

I told you I shot some video today, but YouTube was being uncooperative. We made up, and you can see the video after the jump.

When you are trying very hard to be a Moral Majority / Conservative candidate and sell yourself to people that are highly suspicious that you are not, in fact, a Moral Majority / Conservative candidate, it would be bad for even the stirrings of a sex scandal to crop up. But when you are the anti-Washington Maverick / Moral Majority / Conservative candidate, and said scandal is allegedly with a lobbyist? That is not good in a very special kind of way. The New York Times has the story, which every other outlet on the face of the earth is rightly calling a "bombshell."

From Outside Reunion

Man, there are a lot of people here. The joke was that people would be lined up on Tuesday for Obama's rally here today, and that by the time the doors opened, the line would be around the block. Turns out, that was no joke. More soon.
