2008 New Hampshire Primary Open Thread

Josh tells me there's a crowd gathering outside our office clamoring for a place to share their New Hampshire prognostications. I say to him, I give the people what they want. Publish your New Hampshire nuggets of wisdom in the comments at your whim.

EDIT: Early numbers have started to come in for New Hampshire today; we'll be following along in the comments as the results come in.

EDIT: Obama's conceded, and Clinton gets the win. Final numbers: Clinton 39%, Obama 36%, Edwards 17%, Richardson 5%, Kucinich 1%. Gravel didn't register. On the Republican side: McCain 37%, Romney 32%, Huckabee 11%, Giuliani 9%, Paul 8%, Thompson and Hunter 1% each.

Obama just conceded

Wow, this was amazing, I had chills running up and down the whole time. ABC News said that older women were the winning factor for her campaign.

Again, who knows

I can't believe how open this whole thing is.

I would love to know what

I would love to know what that beeping noise is in the background on NBC.

Obama used a teleprompter?

Bernie's

I always kind of hoped my mid twenties would be like Weekend at Bernie's.

Everyone else was having fun, and I was dead.

Every government has the

Every government has the primary concern of chasing after money, this also means making sure that finances of the country are always on the right track. New Hampshire caps the interest on a payday loan, and people are buzzing about the Obama speech on the economy. The President-elect gave his economic address recently, and announced a broad plan for a generous stimulus package that will help the revamp. Republicans in Congress, in a surprise move, haven't voiced prolific opposition to the proposals, and instead have agreed with Obama that a stimulus package is needed, as well as tax cuts to the middle class. Instead the only disagreement is in the terms of the stimulus. House Minority Leader John Boehner was in favor of a more balanced stimulus, and Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell offered that the stimulus portions available for states should be made as loans instead of grants.
