A dedicated community leader, Robin has an extensive record working on behalf of progressive causes.
During 2006, she promoted Chris Bell, Barbara Radnofsky, and Ted Ankrum's campaigns, particularly in West Houston area precincts. She worked on Andrew Tran's 2002 State Representative 149 campaign.
Robin graduated from Texas Woman's University (MA 2005, BS 2001) with degrees in women's studies and government respectively. Traveling to Washington D.C. with classmates, she participated in the 2004 ‘March for Women’s Lives’.
At the student newspaper, she secured increased funding and staffing for the university's campus disability accommodations office and brought ADA renovations to the main physical plant.
She was Democrats with Disabilities base vote caucus chair for the College Democrats of America and a board member of the Young Democrats of America Disability Issues Caucus. She also served as a Deputy Regional Organizer for CDA.
