Sam Jones currently lives in Plano with his fiance, and works in Dallas as Deputy Manager for Sheriff Lupe Valdez' re-election campaign. He previously served as Field Director and Treasurer of the Denton County Young Democrats, as well as Precinct Chair and Secretary of The Leadership Committee for the Denton County Democratic Party.

Sam has worked as Field Director on the Sam Coats Mayoral campaign in Dallas, and as an Iowa field organizer for Senator Chris Dodd's presidential bid. He is a Political Science graduate from the University of North Texas.
