Sam Jones currently lives in Dallas with his wife Victoria, and serves as District Director for State Representative Robert Miklos (D-Mesquite). Previously he worked in Dallas as Deputy Manager for Sheriff Lupe Valdez' successful re-election campaign.

Sam was Field Director for the 2007 Sam Coats Mayoral campaign in Dallas, and an Iowa field organizer for Senator Chris Dodd's presidential bid. He has also served as Field Director and Treasurer of the Denton County Young Democrats, as well as Precinct Chair and Secretary of The Leadership Committee for the Denton County Democratic Party. Sam is a Political Science graduate from the University of North Texas.
